Little Village Records
Sharing music from our backyard with the world
See the people. Hear the music. Feel the community.
Music for Understanding
We believe that good music comes from artists of all backgrounds and cultures. It’s our goal to find, record, and preserve these stories that offer a fresh perspective on life in America today. Through an extensive network, we identify and offer the opportunity to amplify a musician’s voice outside their community through music, at no cost to the artist.
Promoting Artist Agency
To ensure the highest authenticity and quality of the albums we produce, we provide our artists with full agency and ownership of their work. All proceeds from album sales and live performances are given back to the artist. Little Village does not charge a fee or take royalties from their work. Paying artists in full for their creativity is a critical aspect of our mission, and is made possible by tax refundable contributions from individuals like you.
